FIRST DAY

Today will be the first day of work for so many junior doctors across the country. Friends are now colleagues, and hopefully colleagues will later become friends.

I drew the short straw. I will be on call on the first day. Out of 15 surgical F1s... why?

I will not cry. Unless I really really need to.
