BROKEN LINES
My firmmates call this module dermaholiday because there's not much we need to do for dermatology. True. Sigh, two weeks of dermatology... Boredom? You would think so.
One of my firmmates has a way of entertaining everyone else. He does palm reading.
Bullshit?
Err of course. But as long as it's not a gypsy woman waving her hand under my nose going, 'You cross my palm with silver, I'll tell your future.', I really can't be bothered to be bothered. I was like whatever, read my hands.
Apparently, I will inherit properties. 'You will inherit properties. Maybe a house or something valuable in the family but not money.' Hmm, I've always thought about buying my own place, but this could mean I don't have to learn about estates and properties after all.
'There's a funny sort-of break in your life line. You will have an illness, not an accident, but an illness.' My hands are not much of a doctor even though they went to medical school; they don't say what illness it is. Pff stupid hands.
'There are two things you worry about in life - one is academic and the other is your love life.' What?? Hey, I also worry about global warming, the whereabout of Osama bin Laden and Britney Spears' custody battle. C'mon, I'm not that self-absorbed *roll eyes*.
Me: Are you sure it's my love life?
My friend: Yea (pointing) it's academic and love life.
Me: What love life??
My friend: Maybe this is something in the future.
This begs the question why I would want a partner if it was going to add worry to my life.
'You have two choices in career, but whichever you choose you will be equally successful. But as of now, you're still unable to figure out which two.' I'd say I want to do whatever that can justify me being arrogant or a complete asshole. What is life if you can't act like an arrogant asshole from time to time?
'You and your partner have a strong relationship but there will be separation. However, with time both of you will get back together again.' Bet he said that because there's another break in one of the lines.
So I have a few broken lines on my hands; any palm reader will predict a future not so perfect for me. I hope life will still be meaningful though.

I was searching Floyer house for some reason and i come up with your blog!
I stayed there for one year between 2005 and 2006. Good old days, though sometimes i was really bored.
Good luck
