TIME

Boy, time flies. My 5-week break is officially over. Thankfully it was enough to recover from the horrible horrible paediatric firm. I don't wake up screaming in the middle of the night anymore, whew.

No honestly, time really flies. So many are trying to decide what they want to do in the future. Some have clear ideas; others like me know what we don't want to do but not what we really want to do. Go to hell, respiratory!!

While on paediatric firm, I met this SHO who said she knew from the beginning that she wanted to become a paediatrician. Her boyfriend was training to become O&G specialist because he wanted to do both medicine and surgery. Paeds and O&G; quite a couple if I must say so. Some people just know what they want to do from day one; isn't that just disgusting?

Emma just recently had a revelation what he wanted to do. Lepas tu kecoh but the good thing is he's really focusing on it now. I have come to learn to respect other people's choices; it's not easy making one. I didn't even make fun of Dennis for wanting to become a paediatric surgeon. I laughed behind his back though.

I used to resent having to decide what uni to go to at the age of 17. I don't think I'll ever be ready to decide the rest of my life.

Need. More. Time.

10K

Today is the London Marathon day and one of my friends is running. He invited me to join him a few months ago and I made a rather unfunny joke by saying yes. Of course I wasn't going to run the London Marathon.

But I ran 10.5 km on the treadmill this morning because I felt teeny tiny bit guilty.

That means it would take me about 3 days to complete the London Marathon. Slow huh. But that would still be faster than stupid DLR (DLR sungguh annoying).

The good thing about running is you don't get tired easily if you run at consistent speed and not stop midway. That's it, I'm gonna try for 20K >( ^o^)<

Aww but the hunger afterwards. Lapar, lapar, satu ekor lembu pun boleh terkorban. I'm off to have a big lunch.
