FY1 8NR

FY1 huh? Coincidence? Hmm, probably. The first time I discovered that was the postcode for Blackpool Victoria Hospital (my home for the next 2 years? *shudders*), I thought I read it wrong.

I hope it's a good sign though.

My bleep will be 925. Although the hours are really going to be 8 to 5 (get it? *lame joke alert*). The old F1: Go on, answer it. It will be yours in 2 weeks anyway. Me: I don't want it. Him: You pick it up from switchboard on your first day. If you're really unlucky, by the time you pick it up, you'll already have a few bleeps. *evil laugh*

Every exam, I never thought I was ever going to see the finish line. Graduating from medical school was like the unthinkable. Now, I have spent hours wondering what I did for 5 years. Enough to survive the first 24 hours? 1 week? 1 month? The whole year?

Hmm.

PICKED

Dennis first got pickpocketted in Paris. We certainly did not see it coming. The two girls were acting so dumb; slowing getting on the metro while blocking our way and separating us from each other and then getting off just as the door was closing. I cursed 'stupid bitches' and Dennis said 'wait, my wallet's gone!'

In Barcelona, it was a group of pickpockets working together. The man pretended he was rushing his friends into the metro so he put his arm on the handle therefore confining us to a corner while his friends got between us. Unfortunately for him, I thought he was a scary man and ducked under his arm and we managed to get away. They kept eyeing on us and the girls came over and did the same trick of blocking us while pretending to look at the metro map while the rest crowded Dennis. It was a half empty train so of course it was all very suspicious. We pushed and ducked under their arms. A few seconds later, the train got to the next stop and they gave up and got off.

Comparatively speaking, of course I'd have to say the Parisians did better. I was pissed off I had to pay for the rest of the trip, but it was a bloody good pickpocketing there. I rather lose money to professional pickpockets than idiots who crowd people on half empty metro trains. What am I saying? I hope they all burn in hell.

**********

I've been watching Wimbledon since it started; but only following a few players like Federer of course, Murray, Roddick, Venus and teeny tiny bit of Hewitt. With all the Murray hype in the media, it's been difficult to like the guy. Especially when Roddick is playing and the pundits can't shut up about Murray (they played on the same day in the first week). How awesome was Roddick though!

Admittedly a Federer-Murray final would be better but the way Roddick's been playing, he deserves to be in the final. I just don't know who to support come Sunday >_<
